How can I book a course?
How can I pay the course?
You can pay the course in three different ways:
- By credit card
- By bank transfer (the bank fees will be charged on your account)
- By cash at school
How long does a class last?
Classes at Intensive and Semi-intensive Courses last 50 minutes; classes at Extensive Courses last 45 minutes and classes at DELE Preparation Courses last 60 minutes.
How are the classrooms?
Our classrooms are spacious, bright, have air-conditioning and are equipped with the latest learning multimedia.
How do I know my Spanish level?
Before starting the course you will be asked to take a Spanish level test which is totally free. You can either take the test on-line, at school or we can send it to you by e-mail. You will then be placed in the correct class according to your Spanish level.
Can I change class?
Yes, of course. In case you wish to change your class and move to another level you shall speak to your teacher. You might be asked to take an evaluation test in order to change level.
What happens if I can’t go to school for a day?
If you can’t come to school for a day you should inform your teacher so that he/she can tell you the contents you’ll miss. If you’re taking a One To One Course, you should tell us at least 48 hours before the scheduled class in order to reschedule it.
Will classes on bank holidays be rescheduled on a normal day?
Classes on either bank or local holidays will neither be rescheduled nor reimbursed. On the other hand, One to One classes will be rescheduled.
Will I get a final certificate of the course?
Once you complete your course, SC will give you a certificate of attendance. This document is not valid as an official document in accordance with the legislation governing non-accredited education. To obtain this certificate, you must attend at least 85% of the classes.
Are teachers qualified to teach Spanish?
Yes, of course. All our teachers are highly qualified native speakers (with a Degree in Philology or a Master’s Degree in Spanish as a Foreign Language) and have a long career in teaching Spanish.
Where are the other students from?
At SC School we have students from many different countries such as: Australia, USA, China, Germany, France, UK, Turkey, Syria, Poland, Russia, Italy and so on.
Are cultural activities mandatory?
No, they are not, but we certainly reccomend them.
Can I take part in a cultural activity even if I have a health problem?
There are no medical restrictions, but you shall notify the school in case you need to follow a special diet (celiac disease, allergy, intolerance ....), if you have mobility problems or any other health problem.
I am a former student, do I have to pay the registration fee again?
No, if you are a former student of the school you do not have to pay it.
What are the school opening hours?
Our school opens from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 19:00.
I do not have a health insurance, can I buy one at school?
Yes, since all our students must have a health insurance with an adequate medical coverage, if you do not have one, you can purchase it at school.
